The VIP Experience Associate position provides support to the Development Operations Team in preparation for VIP Experience for The Nutcracker. This temporary position is paid and has flexible hours outside of required event days.

Coordinate programs and staff within the Education and Community Engagement (ECE) department.

As a Company Pianist with Houston Ballet, you’ll be an essential part of the creative process—providing live accompaniment for classes, rehearsals, and staged performances in collaboration with world-class dancers, conductors, choreographers, and musicians.  This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an environment where your playing isn’t just heard—it’s felt in every movement on stage.  This is a full-time, in-person position located in Houston, Texas. 

The Head of Costumes leads all aspects of costume production, maintenance, and wardrobe for the ballet company’s repertory and new productions, ensuring artistic excellence, efficiency, and adherence to all applicable collective bargaining agreements. This position manages a team of union and non-union staff, overseeing the costume shop and wardrobe departments in collaboration with designers, choreographers, dancers, and stage management.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering general Marketplace information to callers. 

Our part-time customer service positions pay $15 per hour.

The CSRs use basic office equipment and technology such as telephones, email, and web browsers to perform their duties. The CSRs assume ticket order responsibility and processing of payments during performances and throughout the work week.

We are looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to help in Houston Ballet retail store. In this role, you will greet customers and provide them with product information or suggestions. Your other tasks involve keeping the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with inventory. Since this is our busy season, we serve a high number of customers throughout the day. Employees must follow company policy and uphold brand standards at all times. Seasonal hourly salary starts at $15.00/ 40 hours per week. 

This is a part-time, in-person position located in downtown Houston, Texas. The position pays $15 per hour.

Academy Class Monitors will help ensure the safety and security of Houston Ballet Academy students at the Center for Dance, located in downtown Houston. Academy Class Monitors will handle COVID-19 screening and implement Academy health and safety procedures.  All Houston Ballet employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Hours for the position range from 15-25 per week, depending on availability.
